Talk to her a lot. If you aren't friends with your crush yet, this can be a little difficult. But don't withdraw yourself yet! Once you break the ice, you'll most definitely be glad you did. Start small; ask her questions like which subject she will be having next or what she is getting for homework. Just build it up slowly. When you are ready, ask stuff like, "What's your favourite band?" to her. Slowly but surely, you will initiate good dialogues with her. It can be about anything but make sure she is interested in your topic of conversation. Don't start prattling on about topics she's not interested in or doesn't know about. Talk about something you're both interested in or know about, such as something to do with school, like a performance or project. If you talk to her even when you don't have to, she'll sense that you've taken an interest in her.

Watch your body language. Body language can be really helpful in this kind of situation. Once you've started talking to her quite a lot, start giving her hints with your body language. Like if she has a cut on her finger, take her hand while you ask what happened. You can also brush shoulders if you're walking next to each other. However, you need to observe her reaction. If she seems to be laughing over it, keep going. If she seems uncomfortable, back off immediately, and try building up more of a friendship before trying again. If she reacts well, then you can maybe try going a little further after a while. You can take a little step closer to her while talking or lean slightly against her if you're walking next to each other NOTE: Brushing her hair behind her ear is great if you get the idea that she likes you too!
Be a little flirty. She's never going to guess you're in love with her if you keep insulting her, even as a joke. So never insult or tease her in any shape or form. Once you'vethoroughly completed the previous steps, try being a little flirty. Maybe try putting your arms around her. She'll start to get the idea that you like her a lot. If you like a piece of jewellery or clothing she's wearing, tell her you like it and touch it gently as you tell her so. Be careful, though. Some girls may feel a little threatened if you haven't done the previous steps properly before trying this. It's not a good idea to reach out and touch the charm on her necklace, as it may make you seem like a pervert.hing her hair behind her ear is great if you get the idea that she likes you too!
Compliment her. There is an art to this, so master it or skip this step. Never go on complimenting a girl just because you want to impress her. It will only make you look desperate and probably just irritate or amuse her. Amuse as in make her laugh. And don't ever say a compliment unless you mean it. If you do actually go out with her and have only been giving compliments to impress her, she'll notice when you stop--and that will hurt her. Search for unusual, flattering compliments. Hair, eyes, and clothing compliments are getting over-used. If her writing is really neat or cute, tell her something like, "I love your writing. It's so beautiful." You can also use a double tie compliment--that means to compliment her twice at the same time and linking the compliments together. For example, "I like your earrings. They make your eyes look even nicer!"
- Physical appearance. If she did a small but noticeable change to her appearance, compliment her (but this may make you seem like you're looking closely at her). Maybe you like the way she did her hair that day. If you tell her and she continues to do it that way, she wants you to like her also. This goes the other way too. If you make a physical change and you notice her looking at it (in a good way) or she says she likes it, keep it that way.
- Behaviour. If she does something nice or good, like helped someone, compliment her on what she did. It will show her you care and were paying attention.
You may want to skip this next part if you are normally somewhat weird, or if you're afraid of taking risks. Try sitting down next to or across from her. After talking with her for a few minutes, before leaving, stare at her straight in the eyes for a few seconds. She may notice you and ask you what you're doing. Now, you can respond slowly and softly, "You have really pretty" ("beautiful" or "lovely" may sound weird, but if the girl is smart, this is preferred) "eyes" (see the above step). Then give it a second for her to respond. She may be simply shocked. If she doesn't respond, this isn't bad. Just take up your tray and try not to trip as you walk away. If she's at all interested, she'll be swept off her feet. This is, however, very risky.
